Burglars stole safes, registers from North, Northwest Side businesses, police say

CHICAGO (CBS) — Police on Friday asked for help from the public in finding the thieves who stole safes and cash registers from businesses on the North and Northwest sides.
All the burglaries happened early Thursday morning. In each, the thieves showed up in a black sedan, broke into the businesses, took the safes and cash registers, and left, police said.
The incidents happened at the following times and locations Thursday morning:
There were two to four thieves involved, police said.
